XS1: Exception error encountered when starting services after migrating to a new application server (version 1.90)
Was the virtual machine / server used as the application server recently migrated to a new app server? If yes, then this error likely occurred because of the move to the new server. Windows DPAPI is used to encrypt the master passphrase. Since DPAPI uses the Windows domain user account on the application server to encrypt the passphrase, it only works for that user and that specific server (the old app server). Migrating to a new application server requires that the master passphrase be reset and the installer run on the new app server to encrypt the passwords. Contact XYPRO Support so that it can be confirmed whether the exception error is the result of this condition.
