XYPRO WEBSITE: "Decompression failed; error code -5"
Possible causes: - File uploaded to the NonStop in the wrong format (ascii versus binary)
- Network errors during the file transfer from the website to the PC or PC to the NonStop (Corrupted file)
- Bad file on website.
Steps to determine if the binary file was corrupted when uploaded to the NonStop host:
- Download file that was uploaded to the NonStop back to the PC under a different name. For example, if it was uploaded to the NonStop host as XACBIN, download from NonStop to PC as XACBIN1
- Run the DOS COMP program to look for discrepancies between the file downloaded in step #1 and the original still on the PC.
- Open a DOS shell and:

COMP xacbin.000 xacbin1 /d
If there are mismatches, then the original file that was uploaded to the NonStop is corrupt and must be downloaded from website again.
If the second download from the website also proves to be corrupt, notify XYPRO support.
THIS ACTION CAN BE TAKEN FOR ANY XYPRO PRODUCT BINARY FILE UPLOADED TO THE NONSTOP
After downloading from website again, compress the file using WINZIP or some other compression program before uploading to NonStop.
