XYGATE: UNPAK Error After Obeying Product BIN file (How to manually install host product BIN file)

This may occur with any host XYPRO product BIN file.

Workaround is to manually UNPAK the BIN file to a distribution subvolume, then manually run INSTALL:

Example:

Customer has downloaded BIN file for XMA called XMAINST.  They tried to obey it, but it failed with the above error.  Customer can attempt to manually UNPAK and install as follows:

1. VOLUME $<vol>.<subvol>

     $<vol>.<subvol> is the volume/subvolume where the file XMAINST was placed.


2.  UNPAK XMAINST $*.*.*, VOL $<vol>.P28DSDST, MYID, LISTALL,KEEP

     $<vol> is the desired restore volume

3. FUP DUP the product license file to the distribution subvolume created in Step 2.  License file will be
    located in the product installation subvolume, e.g. XYGATEMA.

4. Volume to the distribution subvolume created in Step 2 and run INSTALL to install the product.

    Example:

   a. VOLUME $<vol>.P28DSDST   (Where $<vol> is the volume where the distribution subvol is located)

   b. RUN INSTALL

   Follow the prompts to complete the installation process.
