XMA: Saveabend files are not being created by mover abends
1. Does the security of the XYGATEMA (XMA) installation disk volume or subvolume allow CREATE access to the XMA installation owner? Check for any Safeguard volume or subvolume ACLs or XYGATEOS rules that prevent WRITE or CREATE access for the XMA installation owner. If any exist, they must be modified to allow CREATE or WRITE access for the user id that owns XMA.
2. Is the inspect monitor running? This is a process called $IMON and needs to be running in order for saveabends to be created. This can be checked at a TACL with a "STATUS $IMON" command. If it is not running, then it must be started by the NonStop System Administrator.
Once any security issues have been resolved or the inspect monitor process has been restarted, another attempt should be made to restart the XMA mover through the XMA_MANAGER TACL macro. If the startup fails, check EMS for any error messages and check the XYGATEMA installation subvolume for any saveabend files related to those messages.
