XMA: Newly added EPS Mover abends and will not start

If a newly added EPS mover is abending and will not start steps should be taken to ensure both the UALOGD and UALOGD0 can be accessed by Merged Audit. 

Please check both files have appropriate guardian security and that there is no safeguard ACL restricting access.

Should you need additional assistance troubleshooting please raise a case via the Customer Care portal or by emailing support@xypro.com. In addition to pak'ing and providing any available save abends, please also provide the following:

  • Output of XMA_VERSION
  • Output of SYSINFO
  • Output of Fup info ualogd, detail
  • Output of Fup info ualogd0, detail
  • The EMS log covering the time of the abends
