The following methods are available to change the ownership of an XMA environment.
Method #1 - Re-Install XMA
Procedure:
Refer to Chapter 1 " Installing XMA " in the XYGATE Merged Audit (XMA), User's Guide and Reference Manual
Method #2 - PAK/UNINSTALL/UNPAK
Procedure:
Initial setup
Backup all files/objects before attempting this to minimize damage and/or data loss if this operation does not work for any reason. The following steps should happen as the CURRENT owner of XMA:

TACL> VOLUME <XMA Installation Volume/Subvolume>
TACL> XMA INSTALL
Shutdown XMA pathway
TACL> XMA_PWSTOP
PAK XMA subvolumes
TACL> PAK -EXT <Extent Size>, <PAK File>,&
(<XMA Install Subvolume>.*,<XMA SQL Catablog Subvolume>.*,<XMA Database Subvolume>.*,<XMA Pathway Subvolume>.*),&
LISTALL,AUDITED,SQLCATALOGS ON

(This effort will go much more smoothly if everything is stopped)

Step 3 ? Uninstall the current instance of XMA
(We are going to re-install XMA as the new owner)

Step 4 ? Reinstall XMA as the NEW owner
(Same location as the old instance, but as the new owner. Don?t forget to finish the install as SUPER.SUPER and run the XMA_MANAGER the first time to create the new catalog and database)
5> LOGON <new owner id>
6> RUN $VOL.P28DSDST.INSTALL
7> LOGON SUPER.SUPER
8> XMA_FINISH_INSTALL
8a> REMFIN ß XMA will request ONLY if there are any remote MOVERs configured.
9> LOGON <new owner id>
10> XMA_MANAGER
Step 5 ? UNPAK the old database and Pathway configuration
(This restores the old data as the new owner)
11> UNPAK $VOL.XMABACK.XMAPAK, &
($VOL.XMAPW.*,$VOL.XMADAT),LISTALL,MYID,AUDITED,PURGE
Step 6 ? Edit the Pathway configuration to change the owner
(Simple, but necessary)
12> EDIT $VOL.XMAPW.PWCONFIG; CAB /<old owner>/<new owner>/ a; EXIT;
13> EDIT $VOL.XMAPW.PWSTATE ; CAB /<old owner>/<new owner>/ a; EXIT;
14> EDIT $VOL.XMAPW.PWSTABAK; CAB /<old owner>/<new owner>/ a; EXIT;
Step 7 ? Update database statistics and recompile programs
(NECESSARY step)
15> XMA_SQLCOMPALL
Step 8 ? Cold start the Pathway
16> RUN $VOL.XYGATEMA.XMA
17> XMA_PWCOLD
Method #3 - Edit Configuration Files and resecure SQL Indexes/Tables
