Use the following considerations when notified that a customer is changing their operational environment.
Adding or Deleting CPU's:
A new licence is required only when increasing the number of CPU's to the system. If the CPU value is blank, then it means that there is no restriction on the number of CPU's
Increasing or decreasing the number of IPU cores being utilized.
Changing the number of cores:
A new licence is required only when increasing the number of cores on the system. If the Core value is blank, then it means that there is no restriction on the number of Cores that can be used.
New licenses have to be created when changing any of the following.
