XTR: Error Message Message "XTRAUTH: Access denied. Contact your security administrator. TASK/ACL: NETWORK LEVEL: <XTR ACLGROUP NAME>

These XTR error messages are returned by the XYGATE GUIs. <XTR ACLGROUP NAME> can be any valid ACLGROUP name configured in the TRACL file, e.g. $OWNER, $REPORTERS, $SM_MAINT_OBJECTS.

Example:

XTRAUTH: Access denied. Contact your security administrator. TASK/ACL: NETWORK LEVEL:
$RM_RUN_REPORTS

The error message indicates that a non-member of the ACLGROUP is attempting a function reserved only for members of that ACLGROUP.  In the above example, the user id or alias attempting to manage Safeguard objects must be a valid member of the $RM_RUN_REPORTS ACLGROUP or a valid member of one of the ACLGROUPs that make up $RM_RUN_REPORTS.

1. Ensure that the user id or alias attempting the function is a member of the ACLGROUP referenced in
the error message or a member of one of the subordinate ACLGROUPs that make up the ACLGROUP
    referenced in the error message.

2. If the user attempting the function is determined to already be a valid member of the ACLGROUP and
is an alias, it should not be represented in the ACLGROUP as follows:

     Example:

     ACLGROUP $EVERYONE *,* NETUNDERLYING:*,*

If "NETUNDERLYING is used to reference all aliases, then it should be changed to "UNDERLYING"

    Example:

     ACLGROUP $EVERYONE *,* UNDERLYING:*,*

This may require you to check all subordinate ACLGROUPS that make up the ACLGROUP referenced in the error message.
