2. Move the following files to the new subvolume:

3. The DCVINI file has several references to the Discover database. Please change the indicated attributes in the listed sections.
[SCAN] DBSubvol=[discover subvol]
[TCPIP] If using static connections and you wish for the new Discover environment to co-exist with the original one, update the PORTMIN and PORTMAX values to reflect a different range of ports for the client connection. [TODO] Subvol=[discover subvol]
[WORKSHEET] Subvol=[discover subvol]
[PROGRAMS] VDIAG=[discover subvol].VDIAG/OUT $S.#VDIAG/
4. Edit the RD macro and change the DISCOVER and LISTEN object name references to the new subvolume. If you wish for the new Discover environment to co-exist with the original one, then change the names of the monitor and LISTEN processes.
5. If maintaining the same version of Discover, duplicate DCVRPAKX file from the original Discover subvolume. Otherwise, the latest version of the Discover server can be downloaded from www.merlon.com.
6. Install the Discover software in the new subvolume:
a) TACL> FUP ALTER DCVRPAKX, CODE 100
b) Run DCVRPAKX. SETUP will ask you whether you wish to change the DCVINI settings. Answer NO to maintain this configuration.
