XYGATE: Unable to connect GUI (XRM, XSM , XCF) - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused
The IP address is incorrect and/or the port specified is not available to XTR.
Resolution: Verify the IP address of the Nonstop is correct and confirm the XTR Listner has been started. (this opens the port the GUI will connect to) This error occurs most commonly when XTR listner down.
If you have the PORTCONF entry for the XTR LISTNER, please start it again.
For example, LISTNER /NAME , IN $VHS, OUT $VHS, TERM $VHS, NOWAIT/ $SYSTEM.XYGATETR.PORTCONF
OR
If you are using a temporary standalone LISTNER process, it can be started using the following commands:
Step 1: Logon as an owner of XTR
TACL> LOGON <owner of XTR >
Step 2: Install XTR macro
TACL > RUN XTR INSTALL
Step 3: Run XTR_START_LISTNER on the TCPIP stack in use.
For example, if the TCPIP stack name is $ZTC0 and the port you wish to use is 4002:
TACL > XTR_START_LISTNER 4002 $ZTC0
When XTR LISTNER has started, please make a new GUI connection.
