XSW: How are the XYGATESW Temporary Work Files located in the XYGATESW Work Subvolume handled?
When a collection is started from the XYGATESW Windows Client the collection starts on the NonStop Node containing the XYGATESW installation.
Temporary Work Files for this collection are named according to the WORK_VOLUME parameter in the SWCONF file located in the XYGATESW Product Installation Subvolume on the NonStop Node.
If a collection is loaded from the XYGATESW Windows Client, the work directory associated with that collection should be automatically removed once that collection load is completed.
A load of the data can be manually initiated in the XYGATESW Windows Client once collection is complete with the Start Load button.
Once a collection is loaded the data from the work directory is downloaded to the computer hosting the XSW GUI for processing and retention according to the XYGATESW Windows Client Settings.
These settings can be found on the associated collection's Collection Criteria tab on the Run-Time Options subtab. An example of these settings is below.
