This issue can come up when there is a mismatch between nodes. Please verify the NETKEY file contents in the XPQ installation subvolume on all 4 nodes are exactly the same. This file must be identical on all systems for synchronization to take place.
If the NETKEY value on the node that failed is not the same, please update this and confirm if the password synch issue persists.
NETKEY
This file is created during installation and contains the key that the XPQ servers on different nodes use to verify their identities to each other during password changes across the network. The file contains one text entry which must be 1 to 32 characters in length. To modify the key, you may EDIT the file. The NETKEY must be the same on all nodes that participate in network password changes. If you modify the key on any node, you must alter the key on all nodes.
