XMA: Can I re-write Safeguard audit records to the XMA database that have been removed by Cleanup or Archive processes?
The answer is no. The Safeguard state table (SFGST) tracks all Safeguard audit records written to the XMA database. If another attempt is made to write the same records to the database, they are skipped over, even if the database was purged of all data prior to the attempt. Because this information is still in the state table, subsequent attempts to the same records to the database will fail. The reason for this is to prevent duplicate records from being written to the database.
