SYMPTOMS:
STN (pseudo-TTY):
Application output (sometimes including echo of input) is
"stuck", not appearing until the next keyboard input.
CONDITIONS:
XYPRO XYGATEAC OSS sessions.
OSS applications like shell and vi using "raw" reads
(ICANON off).
Setmode 258,1 (set full duplex mode)
SSHCOM user must set
CI-PROGRAM *MENU* XAC
or
SHELL-PROGRAM *MENU* XAC
to start the application immediately. If the Enter Choice>
menu is displayed, the delay will usually avoid the problem.
LIKELIHOOD:
May occur.
WORKAROUNDS:
Change the application to not perform setmodes until after the
first read, write, or control is done for the session.

add service xac,prog $system.xygateac.xygateac,script s258 ...
FIX-INFO:
STN now resets setmodes immediately at session startup instead
of waiting 0.5 seconds.
